đź”— Networks We Connect With

At Netoholics Network, we don’t operate in a bubble… we operate connected.

Over the air, across talkgroups, and through linked systems, we regularly connect with other networks that share the same passion for good conversation, solid signal paths, and keeping the airwaves alive. Some of these networks host scheduled nets we participate in, some provide infrastructure we link through, and others are places you’ll hear familiar voices when connections are up.

This page exists to make it easy for you to explore the networks you’re hearing while listening with us. Click through to learn more about their schedules, dashboards, and communities… and if you’re curious, jump in and check them out.

Whether you’re here to monitor, participate, or just see where the traffic is flowing tonight, these are the networks that help keep Netoholics connected.

Stay linked up… and we’ll see you on the air.

The 220 MHz Guys A.R.C. – “The Good Guys!”

We are an Amateur Radio Club that was started by a small group of radio enthusiasts interested in promoting activity on the 220 MHz ham band. This grew quickly into a weekly Saturday morning breakfast “Meet & Greet” that brought visitors from all over the Chicagoland area. It had sparked interest in not only the 220 ham band, but also many of the peripheral aspects of radio communications. Since then, a formal and successful club had developed.

The Phil-Mont Mobile Radio Club

In 1949, five young men who shared a common interest met in Glenside, Pa., to form a new amateur radio club: Dick Dickinson, W3AAG; Leroy Hauser, W3PMD; George King, W3PXY; Bill Krewson, W3OQI; and Jim Spencer, W3QQH (later W3BBB). Because their special interest was in mobile operation, they named their new group the Phil-Mont Mobile Radio Club; all of them residing either in Philadelphia or Montgomery County. For the next few years their monthly meetings were held at the Glenside War Memorial Building.
